The C.A.R.E Centre's community inclusion outings program is a program that allows our clients to be included and attend social events, cultural events, community shows, plays, museums, libraries, sporting events, tours, festivals, galleries, markets, places of worship, exhibits, gardens, heritage sites, and places of recreation within our community. Outings are chosen based on wheelchair accessibility and accessibility for groups. Our outings are offered as part of our day program and throughout the month of July. Our outings program also allows for special guests to come the Centre and visit us on site. Below is a list of community outings that our participants have frequented. Recently due to the pandemic we have been able to attend ‘ virtual outings’ which allows us to view exhibits or presentations from places that may not been wheelchair accessible.
